All cancellations must be made by emailing email@example.com or calling +64(0)211750832.
- Up to 24 hours prior to tour -100% refund (see 'REFUNDS TO CREDIT CARDS')
- Within 24 hours prior to tour -no refund
refunds to credit cards
Refunds to credit cards will be charged 5%. This charge is levied by the credit card companies against all transactions refunded.
REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER
Always assume that tour is running unless we contact you.
Tours will not be cancelled due to cold weather or rain, only in extreme weather conditions will a tour be cancelled.
If you decide not to attend the tour on account of weather, this will be considered a no-show and not eligible for a refund. You can choose to postpone the tour to a later date (see 'POSTPONING A TOUR')
If you have booked and paid and your ship cannot berth at Port Chalmers, there is no refund.
If your ship is delayed or postponed, we will wait for you at the port until you arrive.
If you know that your ship cannot berth at Port Chalmers more than 24 hours in advance, you can still get a full refund, minus any credit card fees (see above). To be eligible for a refund, you must notify us in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling +64(0)211750832 no later than 24 hours prior to the start of your tour.
Postponing a tour
In the event you wish to change the time and/or date or your tour, please contact us by email or phone no later than 24 hours prior to the tour departure time.
release and waiver of liability
By accepting your booking and in consideration of you being permitted by Offtrack Tours Ltd to join a tour, you:
• release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify Offtrack Tours Ltd and its officers, employees, agents, licensees, guides and other representatives and the land management authorities in New Zealand from all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, loss of profits, consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during your travel in connection with the tour or any activities conducted in conjunction there within unless caused by the willful negligence or wrongful act of Offtrack Tours Ltd. This is subject to any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantee Act 1993 if booking in NZ.
WARNING: Under New Zealand law it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to sue anyone if you are injured and/or suffer disruption in your travel arrangements. Offtrack Tours Ltd holds a current public liability insurance policy covering all tours operated by Offtrack Tours Ltd
