Tour Information
Bike Hire: $35/day for a mountainbike with front suspension (hard tail).
Accommodation: double rooms, rooms with singlebeds and bunks. Accommodation for each tour will differ.
Age: Restricted to those over 18.
Baggage: One overnight bag (maximum 20kg) and one smaller day backpack if required for your camera, snacks etc.
Parking: At each start point we have recommended parking areas, where your car will be secure.
Transport to and from start and finish points: All mountainbike tours include a transfer from the finish point back to the start point. If you require any extra transfers (e.g. from Dunedin, Christchurch or Queenstown) to the start point, please let us know.
Weather: Can change rapidly in the open high country, so bring warm clothing. Snowfalls, while rare, can occur in summer.
Gear List
Day bag: Money/cards, camera, puncture kit, water bottles (or camelback), gloves, hat, sunglasses, suncream, lip balm, snack food.
Overnight bag: Sleeping bag, cycling clothes including waterproof jacket, dry change of clothes, toiletries (20kg maximum).
