The Big Sky Tour

We start at Omarama, in the Mackenzie Basin, located on the main road between Christchurch and Queenstown. This is big sky country, open valleys and tussockland, turquoise glacial lakes and the Southern Alps behind. After a day of testing uphill climbs, we descend into the old gold mining town of Naseby for a day of pure single track riding or just relaxing. The third day is spent cycling through private farmland looping back to our start point. This mountain bike tour caters to all rider abilities.

Technical level: novice – mixture of gravel, sealed roads and tracks.
